Our residential range:
Steel. Heavy gauge, puncture resistant, with reinforced struts to stand up to forced entry and high-wind storms. Four designs, seven colors, over 31 window designs.
Steel carriage and steel overlay. Carriage-house styling without the cost or the maintenance of wood.
Wood. 1 3/8 inch thick frames, clear rail or finger jointed, with full mortise and tenon joints locking every stile into one solid frame.
Wood carriage. Custom-built. Door Boy has been installing custom wood doors for over 30 years.
Vinyl and vinyl carriage. High-density cellular PVC that will not dent, rust or corrode. We have been known to bounce a ball off one to make the point.
Fiberglass. Molded high-definition wood grain over a steel core. Will not warp or rot in New Jersey humidity.
Full-view glass. Tempered glass in heavy-duty aluminum frames.

Winter and your door
New Jersey's freeze-thaw cycles are hard on garage door hardware. Cold contracts metal tracks and thickens lubricant, which leads to stuck doors and strained motors.
That is part of what our 25-point safety and security audit checks on every service call: photo-eye sensor alignment, auto-reverse force sensitivity, hardware tightening, and lubrication and balance.

For warehouses, storefronts, firehouses and other commercial buildings:
Rolling steel and fire doors. The standard for warehouse security and fire separation. Fire doors seal off sections of a building automatically in an emergency, which protects stock and people.
Sectional steel doors. Insulated and durable, for shipping docks and climate-controlled space where energy efficiency counts as much as security.
Hollow metal and aluminum doors. Installed and repaired.
Aluminum and glass doors. For dealerships, fire stations and retail storefronts.

We install hardware rated from 25,000 to over 100,000 cycles, built for high-traffic facilities. Every installation meets OSHA requirements and local New Jersey fire codes, which protects you from liability.
Repairs
Our service department handles all makes and models, residential or commercial.
Broken springs. The most dangerous repair on a door. We install high-cycle, heavy-duty springs rated for twice the industry-standard life.
Doors off track. We find the structural reason it fell, so it does not fall again.
Openers that have stopped working. Fried circuit boards or stripped gears.
Doors that will not close. These calls get priority, because a door stuck open is a security problem.
Frayed cables. Replaced before they snap.
Our trucks are stocked with parts for every major brand. At 43 miles, finishing in one visit matters, and that is what the stocked truck is for.
Gates
FAAC gate operators: the Model 415 and Twist'R for residential estate gates, with soft-stop and instant-reverse sensors, and the Model 400 hydraulic for commercial and industrial sites built for constant use. Smartphone control, encrypted rolling-code radio against signal grabbing, and battery backup for outages.

Installers JR and Michael were a few minutes EARLY for our appointment. They were polite, neat, worked tirelessly and efficiently, and took a good amount of time to explain all of the features of the new garage door openers. The cost was exactly what the estimate said it would be. I also had springs replaced by Door Boy last week, and that installer (don’t remember his name! I’m sorry! ) was equally wonderful. Roger, the man I spoke to in the office, was also very easy to talk to and do business with. Highly recommend these folks.
I'm very happy with the service I received from Door Boy. Beginning with my first call to Roger, he was very courteous and pleasant. He responded professionally to all of my questions and kept his word as to when Dave, the awesome tech, would arrive and take measurements of my broken torsion spring. He actually was early, which almost never happens! Dave returned this morning to replace the springs and tune up the doors. My broken door was repaired in about 24 hours from my first call. Fast response and great service. My tension wires, rollers and rails all got out of whack. They got everything in perfect working order within 1 hour. Cost was exactly as communicated prior and very reasonable. No upsell , just expert service.
I had a problem with my door. Called first thing Monday morning - holiday week. They were able to come same day! In just a few hours time. Dave came, explained the problem, fixed it promptly. Saved the (holi)day. We (OK, it was me) had an "oopsie" and dented the garage door from the inside. Trapped in the garage, no second car today, and no vehicle outside. Day before Thanksgiving, heading to the grocery store to get fixings for dinner. To say that the 90+ year old matriarch was upset is an understatement. Techician came out SAME AFTERNOON, towards early end of their window. Dave left <1 hour later, with a repair to fully functional with only a minor dent noticeable. Now we can make the dreaded green bean casserole. No upcharge, no hassle. Our experience was exceptional.
